Bead Pharmacy Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission through BEAD Pharmacy Karnataka must meet the qualifying requirements listed below-

Domicile Criteria

Some government quota seats in private institutions are reserved by domicile criterion, as are all seats in government pharmacy colleges. Candidates for the government quota must be Karnataka residents. They must have completed their SSC (10th) and HSC (12th) in Karnataka. There are no domicile requirements for management quota seats.

Criteria for Academics

Candidates must have completed their HSC in the Science stream (PCB/PCMB) and to be eligible for admission, candidates must have a minimum HSC score of 45%.

Bead Pharmacy Admission 2022

The BEAD Pharmacy test is generally held in July, but because of the continuing COVID-19 epidemic, it has been postponed this year. The application and related documentation submitted by the appropriate institution for admission to the D.Pharma course after the deadline set by the Board of Examining Authority will not be accepted. Candidates seeking admission through BEAD in Pharmacy must bring in the following documents at the time of admission; otherwise, they will be ineligible for the admission procedure. Courses under Bead Pharmacy 2022 

The BEAD Pharmacy program is a two-year diploma program. The institute provides students with practical training every two semesters. Each course is three months long. The Pharmacy Council of India has approved the course (PCI). BEAD Pharmacy offers a limited amount of instruction in both theory and practice. Candidates can review the course topics listed below-

Bead Pharmacy Quotas and Colleges 

  • Government Colleges/Government Quotas

Candidates who choose government colleges or government quotas in private institutions must appear before the registration committee at the Government College of Pharmacy in Bangalore with all required papers and their application forms. Because there is no online admission method for this, candidates must print the application form, complete it, and submit it to the Registration Committee at the Government College of Pharmacy. The admissions procedure will take place there, and seats will be assigned. The shortlisted candidates must pay the INR 12.000 first-year BEAD Pharmacy Fees at the desk. Candidates can pick up their admission letters from the committee when they have paid their fees. There is a two-day grace period following admission confirmation to pay the costs.

  • Management Quotas/Private Schools

The private institutions that provide the Diploma in Pharmacy program admit students based on their class 12th percentage or merit. Candidates can apply on the official website or pick up an admission form at the campus. There is no entrance exam. Candidates should keep in mind that admission to the BEAD Pharmacy course is on a first-come, first-served basis, so they should keep their records up to date.
