In the BBA 1st year, there are a total of 11 subjects. The three main courses in the first semester are Managerial Economics, Financial Accounting & Analysis, and Environmental Science. - Managerial Economics: This course focuses on using microeconomic theories and methods to assess business choices made by companies. - Cost and Management Accounting: This course covers the principles of cost and management accounting and how they are used in planning, control, and decision-making. The concepts of normal loss, abnormal loss, and abnormal effectiveness are discussed, along with the nature of management accounting, its scope, cost-volume-profit analysis, budgets and budgetary control, and process costing.
- Operations Management: The importance of operations management as a specialized organization that helps the marketing, finance, and human resources departments deliver high-quality goods and services is the main topic of this course.
