About Bangalore University DDE: In 1976, Bangalore University established the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE). At present, MA, M.Com., and M.Sc. courses are being offered at the PG level, while BA, B.Com., and BBA are being offered at the UG level. In addition, there are Certificate, PG Diploma, and Diploma courses. The courses are available through distance learning in the Correspondence, Open University, and External schemes. Karnataka has 39 study centers that offer students a high-quality education.

Bangalore University Distance Education Fee Structure

Bangalore University DDE provides BA, BBA, and B.Com programs to students who have finished 12th grade with at least 50% aggregate marks. On the other hand, a minimum of 55% aggregate marks is required in Bachelor's for admission to Bangalore University Distance Education PG programs- MA, M.Com, and M.Sc.

Bangalore University Distance Education offers BA, BBA, B.Com, MA, M.COM, M.Sc, and PG diplomas in many streams. Bangalore University Distance Education Eligibility Criteria

Every applicant must meet Bangalore University DDE course eligibility requirements for UG and PG courses in Humanities, Commerce, Science, and others and complete their preferred program. Bangalore University DDE course admission requirements are below.

Bangalore University DDE UG Courses Eligibility

  • BA and B.Com students must complete the 10+2 or equivalent two-year pre-university exam. 
  • The Karnataka Department of Vocational Education offers three-year diplomas.

Bangalore University DDE PG Courses Eligibility

  • MA students have to earn 40%–50% in appropriate BA subjects. 
  • M.Com aspirants must have a B.Com from Bangalore University or an equivalent university with a 50% aggregate grade in commerce subjects across all exams.
  • M.Sc applicants must have a bachelor's degree in science because the university provides science specializations. The candidate must have a 50% report card aggregate.

 

Bangalore University Distance Education Application Process

Obtain the Application Form

  • Pay INR 750 at a Bangalore One Centre or State Bank of India branch for the application form.

OR

  • Visit the Office of the Directorate of Distance Education at Jnana Bharathi Campus, Snehabhawan Building, Bangalore University, Bangalore-560056, and pay INR 750 by demand draft (DD) to "Finance Officer, Bangalore University" payable at Bangalore.

OR

  • Visit Bangalore University's website to get the form.
  • The form and INR 750 application fee should be sent to the DDE office address above with the DD.
  • Send a self-addressed envelope (30 cm X 25 cm), INR 750 DD, and INR 200 postal stamps to the DDE office to receive the form by mail.

 

Fill Out the Application Form

  • Complete the application form with all required information.
  • Attach the Documents of your mark sheets, certificates, and ID.
  • Send the DDE the completed form, documentation, and application fee.

Downloading Hall Ticket

  • Bangalore University DDE/Correspondence webpage.
  • From the main menu, click 'Hall Ticket' then 'Fresh Hall Tickets'.
  • Enter ID, Degree, and semester/year.
  • Save 'Download Hall Ticket' for future use.
