BA LLB Course Eligibility Criteria
Colleges will only provide admission to a BA LLB programme if the candidate meets the required eligibility requirements, which may include passing a qualifying exam, earning a minimum amount of points, or being a certain age. Keep in mind that while the requirements may differ from institution to college, the fundamental principles—the most significant of which are listed here—may not change.
- Exam required for qualification: The applicant must have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent test from an accredited board.
- Minimum scores: Most exams (or colleges) have their own minimum scores. For instance, if the applicant falls into the general or OBC categories, the NLUs demand a minimum of 45% of the possible points. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum score is relaxed by 5%. However, candidates must receive a minimum of 50% in order to appear in the AILET.
- There is typically no upper age limit for entry to BA LLB programs at colleges.
