B Pharma full form is Bachelor of Pharmacy, It is a four-year duration undergraduate program in the field of pharmacy which is considered as a prerequisite for the practice of pharmacist or chemist.

Pharmaceutics, Inorganic Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Human Anatomy are important B Pharmacy subject that almost all colleges offer their students to study. B Pharmacy 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Many colleges set their own eligibility criteria for B Pharmacy. Listed below are the eligibility criteria followed by most B pharmacy colleges in India. 

  1. The minimum eligibility criteria that almost all the colleges ask for is that the candidates applying for B Pharmacy need to pass 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Math.
  2. Some colleges also accept students who have studied biotechnology or life sciences instead of biology or math in 10+2. 
  3. There are several colleges that take marks in English in consideration as well such as BITS Pilani, JSS College of Pharmacy and Amity University. 
  4. National level and state level entrance examinations are also conducted to check students' aptitude and ability. 
  5. However, the admission criteria vary from college to college. Some take admission entirely based on merit whereas others take students based on entrance score and marks obtained in their 10+2.
