ATMA 2024 Preparation Tips

Let us now look at how you can prepare for the ATMA Exam in each section of the paper.

Analytical and Quantitative Skills:

  • Revise everything you learned in Math for this section of ATMA. Starting with questions from your class 10 and 12 Math textbooks is the best way to get started.
  • Get enough practice in to speed up. To improve your accuracy, solve previous years' question papers on a regular basis.
  • Examine solved question papers and try to comprehend the reasoning behind the correct answer. Don't get stuck on one difficult question; instead, move on to the next.

 Communication Skills or Language Comprehension:

  • This section will test your knowledge of the English language and your capacity to understand it. You should read more to increase your vocabulary, which you can do by practicing it.
  • Practice sentence and paragraph jumble questions frequently. Read the passages and respond to the questions that follow. Regularly reading magazines and newspapers will help you learn word definitions, idioms, and phrases. Reading well-written books can be very beneficial.
  • Make use of the grammar textbooks you read in middle school to sharpen your comprehension of fundamental grammar.

Analytical reasoning:

  •  This ATMA section is regarded as one of the most difficult. Your ability to reason critically and logically will be tested here. It is recommended that you regularly practice solving puzzles and riddles to do well in this section.
  •  To improve your critical thinking skills, practice coding and decoding questions. Practice reading statements and coming to logical conclusions, as well as identifying fallacious logic.
  •  The key to success in this section is to practice as much as possible from previous years' question papers so that you have a good idea of the question pattern.
