About Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME)
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is a 2-3 years undergraduate course. AME course involves studying, designing, developing, and testing of aircraft. In order to guarantee the safety and effectiveness of aircraft operations, individuals who wish to work in aviation maintenance must be proficient in aircraft maintenance engineering. The length of the AME course varies according to the course level.
AME Eligibility is that the candidates must pass Class 12 in the Science stream with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) subjects. Admission to the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering program is typically determined by Class 12 scores, but some universities also accept results from the SSAT, JEE Main, CUET, and AME CET.
