AFCAT Admit Card: Official Selection Process for AFCAT
· The notification for NDA is released twice a year in the months of June and December and for CDSE in the months of July and November by UPSC.
· For all entries other than NDA and CDSE, have to undergo the AFCAT.
· The AFCAT test is conducted all across India by the Indian Air Force.
· If you have successfully cleared the test, then you will receive a call letter from Air Force Selection Boards.
· At AFSB, candidates need to undergo the following test:
· Stage 1: It is a type of screening testing in which there are officer intelligence rating tests and Picture Perception and Discussion tests. Qualified candidates are routed to the next stage.
· Stage 2: It is a type of psychological test that is conducted in the written form. Personal Interview is also conducted. Candidates who applied for the flying branch also undergo the Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS) test.
· Then Candidates go through a medical examination at the Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME), New Delhi, or the Institute of Aviation Medicine, Bengaluru.
· An all-India merit list is released on the official website on the basis of your performance in the written test and AFSB interview.
AFCAT Admit Card: Important Instructions for AFCAT Exam Day
· Candidates are advised to reach the examination center as per the reporting time mentioned in the admit card.
· Candidates need to adhere to all the guidelines written on the admit card.
· Candidates need to bring an admit card along with photo-identification proof in order to appear for the exam.
· Bring two passport-size photographs similar to the one uploaded while filling out the application form
· It is advisable to carry a ballpoint pen to sign the attendance sheet and rough work.
Things not permitted at the examination venue: The following items should not be brought by the candidate to the examination center:
Any digital gadget, including mobile phones, calculators, and other communication devices.
Any luggage containing textual material, slide rulers, log tables, electronic watches with calculator, Bluetooth, pager, and other similar devices is not permitted at the exam center.
