This aspirational scholarship, established in 1999, extends to the country's top scholars from 21 premier institutes: BITS Pilani, IITs, IIMs, XLRI, and premier law colleges such as The National Law School University, Bangalore; Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad; National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata; The Gujarat National Law University; and The National Law University, Jodhpur. The ambitious Aditya Birla Scholarship Programme provides significant financial support and allows scholars to connect with students from top institutes and network with Aditya Birla Group leaders. The Aditya Birla Scholarship roster has 684 scholars. The Aditya Birla Scholarships Programme pays tribute to the legendary leader, the late Mr. Aditya Vikram Birla. The Scholars' performance will be closely monitored as the Scholarship is renewed on an annual basis. The Deans/Directors of IIMs, XLRI, IITs, BITS (Pilani), and Law Campuses have all agreed to manage the monies. The Scholarship payment will be transferred immediately to the institute's authorized bank account through bank transfers.
These Scholarships are valid for the duration of the course, subject to continued performance. Given that the Scholarship is announced in September and students have already paid their fees, the institute will reimburse the earlier payment.
