VGU Faculty Development Program Overview

Vivekananda Global University came in collaboration with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Administrative Development Centre (ADC) to organize a 5 day faculty development program on May 13, 2024 at the campus of Vivekananda Global University Jaipur.

The inauguration was held by the CEO of VGU, Er Onkar Bagaria. He threw light on the major techniques of teaching and learning that are based on National Education Policy 2020.

The National Education Policy NEP 2020 was presented by the NDA government. Currently, the electrions are going on and if  NDA government wins, more reforms will be brought for betterment in the field of education.

VGU Faculty Development Program Theme

The theme of the VGU Faculty Development Program was Empowering Higher Education: Understanding and Implementing National Education Policy 2020. There are various crucial topics in NEP 2020 that must be covered by major educational institutions like Indian Ethos & Culture, Multidisciplinary Education & Holistic Development; Technology and Education with Reference to NEP;  Innovation in Teaching Practices. 

The core focus of the faculty development program was application based teaching methods and inculcating Indian values in the education delivered to students.

VGU Faculty Development Program Objective

The main objective of the Faculty Development Program was to enrich students with important tools that create an educational experience which aligns with NEP 2020. It was also aimed to highlight the crucial role educators play in focusing on the importance of regular professional development and bringing innovative teaching practices to meet the evolving demands of higher education
