SSC Stenographer 2024 Application Process
Aspirants have to enter the SSC portal and sign in with their account details or create an account. The application form is to be filled in with the personal information, documents, photographs, and signatures. The application fee is Rs. 100 for General and OBC candidates and there is no fee for female candidates and SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-servicemen categories. The fee payment date is 18th August 2024 till 11 P.M.
Selection Process and Exam Schedule
The selection process for SSC Stenographer 2024 consists of two levels:
Level 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- This is an online examination comprising multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for both Grade C and Grade D positions.
- The exam is tentatively scheduled for October-November 2024.
Level 2: Skill Test
- Candidates who clear the CBT will qualify for the skill test, which assesses stenography skills, including dictation and transcription.
- Those who pass the skill test will be eligible for final selection.
Candidates who successfully clear both levels will be considered for the final recruitment to fill the 2,006 stenographer vacancies.
