The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad will kick off its summer placement process for the 2024-25 batch of its Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and PGP in Food and Agribusiness Management (FABM) on November 12, 2024. The institute opts for a hybrid format, allowing companies to visit the campus or conduct interviews online.
The IIM Ahmedabad Placement will be in clusters. A rolling process will ensue after, Cluster 3 depending on the needs on the ground. The selection here is based on the hybrid model, as it is more scalable and can offer recruiters the level of flexibility that they need to choose between face-to-face or remote communications.

Also, IIM-A recently stated that it has plans to apply reservation policies for its PhD courses starting in the academic year 2025. This step comes as the Global IIM Alumni Network urged its enactment after a petition was filed in the Gujarat High Court in last year. They pointed out that IIM-A was the only institution of the 20 IIMs that had failed to spell out reservation rules for the PhD courses offered by it.
IIMA Admissions for doctoral programs opened on September 19 and will remain open until January 20, 2025.
