The Common Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 will be taking place in two shifts for the December session. The candidates are required to carry their admit card for CTET which is given to them by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). They can download their e hall ticket directly from the official website.
The CTET paper 2 in 1st shift paper will start from 9:30 am and end at 12 pm. The CTET paper 1 will be conducted in the evening shift and it will be between 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
The venue of examination will be opened at 7:30 am sharp for the morning shift of paper 2 and at 12:30 pm for the evening shift of paper 2. The total of 150 questions in the examination will be based on multiple choice questions (MCQs) and each question will carry one mark.
CTET 2024: Examination guidelines
These are the guidelines provided by CBSE for all the candidates appearing for the CTET:
- To be allowed to enter the exam hall, candidates have to show their admit card. Those who will not have the admit card, will not be allowed to sit in the examination.
- Candidates have to sit according to their roll number and if anyone is found changing rooms or seats will automatically be disqualified.
- Candidates will not be allowed in the examination hall after the entry time. They are supposed to report to the examination centre at or before 7:30 am for morning shift and at 12:30 pm for evening shift.
- No electronic devices are allowed in the examination hall. Stationary items like paper, pencil box, calculator, any other textual material are also not allowed.
- Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall before the exam is over.
- Candidates who failed to sign the attendance sheet the 2nd time will be not allowed to submit the OMR sheet and this will be considered as unfair means case.
