  1. Complete the Registration Procedure.
  2. Enter the details required by the JEE Main Rank Predictor tool. The details are as follows:

    • JEE Roll Number
    • Expected JEE Score
    • Email ID
    • Phone Number
  3. Click on ‘Know your rank” tab after entering the details.
  4. The page displays your predicted rank in JEE Main 2022 Examination.

Note* Candidates must ensure that the details entered by them are correct as any incorrect details will lead to incorrect or unexpected outcome.

What JEE Main 2022 Rank Predictor Shows?

After entering the details required by rank predictor tool, candidates can click on "Know your rank" tab and the page displays candidates' expected rank. Now that the probable JEE Main Rank is known to candidates, they would be able to figure out if they stand eligible for being shortlisted by IITs, NITs, or other elite engineering institutions.

Rank determination for B.Tech

  • Candidates obtaining higher marks in Mathematics would be allotted with a better rank.
  • Candidates obtaining higher marks in Physics would be allotted with a better rank.
  • Candidates obtaining a higher absolute value of the ratio determined based on positive to negative marks would be allotted a better rank.
  • If the above-mentioned criteria do not work, the candidates would be allotted the same rank.

Rank determination for B.Arch

  • Candidates obtaining higher marks in Aptitude test (Paper 2) would be allotted with a better rank.
  • Candidates obtaining higher marks in Drawing Test (Paper 2) would be allotted with a better rank.
  • Candidates obtaining a higher absolute value of the ratio determined based on positive to negative marks would be allotted a better rank.
  • If the above-mentioned criteria do not work, the candidates would be allotted the same rank.

JEE Main Rank Amendments

As per the notification released by JEE Main last year, three major changes have been introduced by the Ministry of Human Resource & Development:

  • 12th grade marks would be having no weight in determination of ranks for JEE Main.
  • For all the examinees to qualify in IIT/NIT/IIIT admissions, based on JEE Main ranks, a minimum of 75% is required to be secured in the 12th board exam; alternatively, the candidate is required to be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th grade exam conducted by the Boards.
  • For the SC/ST category, a minimum of 65% in the 12th grade exam would be considered as the qualifying marks.
  • The notification has removed Grade 12 marks as a factor in the determination of ranks, however the eligibility criteria hold.

JEE Main Ranks are primarily determined based on the marks obtained by candidates in the examination and based on their ranks, candidates are shortlisted for further procedure of admission in different institutes.
