IIM Lucknow has revised CAT Admit Card 2023 release date. CAT Admit Card will now be released on 7 November 2023 @iimcat.ac.in. The release date of CAT Admit Card was previously set to be 25 October. Candidates will be able to download their respective CAT Admit Cards until the exam day by using their CAT login ID and password. The CAT 2023 Exam will be held on November 26 at approximately 400 test centres across 150 cities. The exam will be divided into three slots and will last two hours. Candidates will be able to take the test at the centre only if they bring a hard copy of their CAT 2023 Admit Card.
NIFT Syllabus 2025: NTA will release the syllabus for NIFT entrance exam 2025 on its website through the information brochure.
The exam is in two stages. In the first stage candidates have to appear for the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT) written exam. Shortlisted candidates from this stage will proceed to Situation Test or Personal Interview. GAT is mandatory for all courses. But only B.Des and M.Des candidates have to appear for CAT.

The General Ability Test (GAT) will be administered online, while the Creative Ability Test (CAT) will be conducted offline. The NIFT 2025 entrance exam is divided into two parts, Written exams and Situation Test (B.Des) & Personal Interview (All PG programs). The written exam consists of General Ability Test and Creative Ability Test (only B.Des and M.Des candidates need to take CAT). Shortlisted candidates from this stage proceed to either the Situation Test or Personal Interview.

The NIFT Syllabus 2025 for GAT covers the following topics:
Quantitative Ability: Tests quantitative skills including Addition, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Percentage, Rate of Interest, Work and Task, Ratio and Proportion, and Distance.
Communication Ability: Evaluates language proficiency in English for day-to-day communication, covering Synonyms, Antonyms, One-word Substitutes, Idioms and Phrases, and Spelling Correction.
English Comprehension: Assesses reading and comprehension skills through passages, focusing on understanding English language usage.
Analytical Ability: Measures logical reasoning and inference-making abilities through analytical reasoning questions.
General Knowledge and Current Affairs: Tests awareness of current events and general knowledge topics such as Classical and Folk Dance, Music, Cabinet Ministers, States and Capitals, Famous Designers, Indian Dynasties, Brands and Logos, Indian Craft, World Heritage Sites, Awards, Sports, and Rivers.
The Numerical Ability: Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Simple and Compound Interest, Averages, Speed, Time and Distance, and concepts like Area, Volume, Permutations, Combinations, and Probability. English preparation highlights Synonyms, Antonyms, Para Jumbles, Error Spotting, One-word Substitution, Word Analogy, and Sentence Completion. Logical Reasoning covers Series Completion, Venn Diagrams, Seating Arrangement, Blood Relations, Data Sufficiency, Syllogisms, Analogy, Direction Sense, Arithmetic Reasoning, and Calendar concepts.
B.Des candidates qualifying through written tests (CAT and GAT) will go to NIFT 2025 Situation Test which will check practical skills and creativity, the evaluation parameters are as follows:
Situation Test is a practical test to check material handling and innovative skills within a given scenario and materials.
Candidates are required to make a model or design using only the materials provided during the exam; no additional materials are allowed.
Evaluation parameters are space visualization, creative use of materials, composition, color scheme, construction finesse, overall presentation and concept write up in English about the model.
The Situation Test is evaluated immediately and models are not retained for future reference.
