The board typically conducts the Maharashtra HSC exams between February and March 2024. The revised schedule for the 2024-25 session was published on the official website on November 2, 2023, and the hall tikets were available for download on January 22, 2024.

The Ministry of Education (MoE) recently also announced that from the 2025-26 session onwards, the board will conduct the exams twice a year and the students will be allowed to retain the best score. Along with this, the exam for the 2024-25 session were earlier scheduled between February 19 and March 19, 2024, but the date was later revised. The New Curriculum as per the NEP 2020 is ready and the textbooks will be available for the 2024 session. Students from Class 11th and 12th will be required to study at least two languages, one out of which should be an Indian language. Along with this, the students will have a wider choice of streams to select from, but not limited to Commerce, arts, or Science.

Overview of the Maharashtra HSC Board Exam
Maharashtra State Education Board conducts the Maha HSC Board Exams every year. it sets the exam pattern and syllabus for the students of class 12th which must be followed strictly by the students. The MSBSHSE conducts the exams for both SSC and HSC through its nine divisions in Maharashtra, namely - Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur, and Ratnagiri.
In order to pass the exam the students must at least get 35 percent marks including both the theory and practical exams.
