What is The AP POLYCET Exam?

AP POLYCET is a state-level examination conducted once a year for admission to various diploma courses in Engineering and Non-Engineering offered by the various Polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

The minimum qualifying marks required to qualify for the AP POLYCET Exam are 30% of the total marks which means candidates must secure 36 marks out of 120 to stand qualified for the examination. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories will be assigned ranks irrespective of the marks obtained by them in the examination as there is no minimum qualifying score for them. 

The exam is expected to be conducted in April 2025 and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours. Every question of the paper comes with four options out of which only one is correct. The total number of questions asked in the paper is 120, out of which 50 questions are from Mathematics, and 40 questions from Physics, and 30 from Chemistry.
