The course aims at perfectly enabling the students to -
- Apply knowledge from biological sciences, and medicine including alternative systems and nursing in providing nursing care to individuals and communities.
- Provide nursing care based on steps of nursing process.
- Participate effectively as members of the health team in the health care delivery system.
- Provide promotive, preventive and restorative health services in line with the national health policies and programmes.
- Conduct need-based research studies and findings as required in various situations.
