One of the best in ASSAM

Placement: Placements in JEC are average. VEDANTA, TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LIMITED, BY JU’s, etc come to the college every year. Also, PSU’s like OIL, NRL, ONGC, APDCL comes here every year. In the CSE branch, almost 80% of students got placed every year. In MECHANICAL around 40%, electrical around 45%, CIVIL around 20% students got placed.
Faculty: My favourite teacher is Dr PARIMAL sir. He is the HOD of the mechanical branch. Here all the teachers are well educated. Most of them are IITians. They teach the students very conceptualy.
College: JORHAT ENGINEERING COLLEGE IS ONE OF THE BEST ENGINEERING COLLEGE IN THE ENTIRE NORTH-EAST INDIA. THE FACULTIES ARE ALL WELL EDUCATED AND VERY SUPPORTIVE. THEY TEACH THE STUDENTS IN A VERY WELL MANNER.
Exam: The admission of the college is done through ASSAM CEE. If you got under 1100 rank then you have a great chance to get admitted to JEC.
