IIM Sirmaur Admission 2024
IIM Sirmaur admission is solely determined by entrance exams. This means, students must appear for a national-level entrance test, such as CAT in order to be eligible for IIM Sirmaur admissions in various programs. The institute provides postgraduate and doctoral programs in management. Candidates must pass the CAT Exam and GATE Exam to be eligible for postgraduate and doctoral programs respectively. IIM Sirmaur Admission Process
Step 1: Registration and Application
Candidates willing to apply for IIM Sirmaur admission must register themselves on the official portal of the university and fill in the application form. Details in the application form must be filled in carefully because any discrepancy may lead to cancellation of admission by the admission authorities. Also, the documents that need to be uploaded to the portal must be accurate. The application will be complete after payment of a nominal application fee.
Step 2: Selection Process by the College
After a student appears for the national-level entrance tests and after the results are declared, the university releases a course-wise cut-off to shortlist candidates for the next round. Those who clear the MBA CAT Cut-off are shortlisted for the next round. They appear for the college selection rounds such as the AWT, WAT, and PI.
Step 3: Admission Call
Those candidates who clear the PI round are given an offer letter for admission. They are given the invitation to admission through their registered e-mail IDs. However, the final admission call is given to only those students who have cleared all the admission rounds, and have a strong academic profile.
Step 4: Report at College
Students who received the call letter from the college must report at the IIM campus and pay the requisite admission fee to confirm their admission.
IIM Sirmaur Admission: MBA (T&HM)
The admission process for MBA(T&HM) is slightly different from other courses at IIM Sirmaur. Especially the eligibility criteria where a student who has completed their 10+2 education with at least 50% of the aggregate points can apply for the program. Admission to this program can be taken through the IIM Sirmaur Test. The test centers are located in Delhi, Chandigarh, Bangalore, and Paonta Sahib. Candidates who clear the test and are shortlisted for the next round will be summoned for an interview. The final admission decision is made based on the composite score—which is determined by adding the results of the CAT, GMAT, or IIM Sirmaur tests, the PI score, the academic profile, and the job experience.
