Goel Group of Institutions Admission Criteria
The admission criteria of Goel Group of Institutions vary from course to course.
For B. Tech Course
- 85% of the total seats available for B. Tech students in Goel Group of Institutions are occupied through UPSEE counselling.
- According to Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University norms, Goel Institute permits management quota for B.Tech students; however, the student must apply to the college. When applying, candidates are required to take a written exam and an in-person interview with the selection committee. Under this category, admission would be granted solely based on merit.
- Use of the NRI QUOTA Direct admissions for B. Tech programmes will be offered in accordance with Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University’s Lucknow policies.
For M. Tech Course
- Admissions in Goel Group of Institutions is done through GATE counselling.
- According to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam University Guidelines, Goel Institute permits management quota for M.Tech students.
- Admissions are made both directly at the college level and through counselling offered by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. In the months of June and July, the university announces counselling and invites students to apply. The communication from the university contains comprehensive instructions and information.
- The criteria for direct admissions at the college level is a B.E. or B. Tech in the pertinent engineering field with a minimum cumulative GPA of 60%.
For Polytechnic Diploma
- Admission for the Board of Technical Education (BTE)-Counseling Diploma must occur through JEECUP counselling.
- Management Quota and (if any) Vacant Seats
- Goel Institute only permits management quotas for Diploma students on open seats, in accordance with Board of Technical Education guidelines.
For MBA Course
- 85% of the total seats available for MBA students in Goel Group of Institutions are occupied through UPSEE counselling.
- Students who undergo and qualify RCRL Management Aptitude Test are eligible to take admission in the Institute.
- According to available seats and AKTU regulations, Goel Institute offers a management quota to MBA candidates who apply to the college.
For B. Pharm
- 85% of the total seats available for B. Pharm students in Goel Group of Institutions are occupied through UPSEE counselling.
- According to Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University norms, Goel Institute permits management quota for B.Pharm students; however, the student must apply to the college. For M. Pharm
- Admissions in M. Pharm is done through GPAT counselling.
- According to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam University Guidelines, Goel Institute permits management quota for M.Pharm students.
- Admissions are made both directly at the college level and through counselling offered by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. - The prerequisite for direct admission at the college level is a B.Pharm in the pertinent engineering fields with a minimum cumulative GPA of 60%.
For D. Pharm
- Admissions of students in D. Pharm is done through JEECUP counselling.
- Goel Group of Institutions allows management quota for Diploma students as per Board of Technical Education Guidelines on vacant seats only.
For BBA, BCA, B. Com, B. Com (hons), BVA/BFA
According to the policies of the University of Lucknow, Lucknow, Goel Institute permits direct admissions for B.COM students, for which the student must contact the college. When applying, candidates are required to take a written exam and an in-person interview with the selection committee. Under this category, admission would be granted solely based on merit.
