Candidates are required to pass their 10+2 Board exams with a minimum percentage of 45. This aggregate percentage of marks keeps on changing from one year to another. Out of the total seats, 80% seats are allotted to the students who have qualified JEM, 10% seats are for AIEEE-qualified students and the remaining 10% seats are reserved for the students who have management quota.  The college accepts the scores of engineering entrance exams such as West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination, All India Engineering Entrance Examination and West Bengal Joint Entrance Lateral Entry Test.
