What is SOF Olympiad?
The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) is an educational organization with headquarters in New Delhi, India. It was founded in 1998 with the goal of fostering interest in science, mathematics, general knowledge, basic computer skills, and English language proficiency among schoolchildren in India and many other nations. Nevertheless, they are not India's official Olympiad organizers.

National Cyber Olympiad (NCO) |
It is a global olympiad aiming at increasing information security through cyber education and also a grassroots project developed by an independent nonprofit organization based on the four TDA pillars of technology, defense, diplomacy, and acquisition. |

It is a science knowledge evaluation competition for children in grades 1-12. The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) organizes NSO to find and develop promising scientists, technologists, and information technology talent in secondary schools. |

|
It is a mathematics competition designed to assess pupils' mathematical abilities. Students that participate in the IMO have the opportunity to test their topic knowledge as well as their competence on a school, local, zonal, and worldwide level. |

|
International English Olympiad (IEO) |
It is open to students from all around the world who have taken an international English language test. This exam will be administered to students throughout the year through competitions at the local, state, and global levels. |

International Commerce Olympiad (ICO) |
SOF and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India jointly administer this Olympiad, which is a single-level examination. In 2016, SOF launched the ICO examination. Students in the upper classes, i.e., grades 11 and 12, are eligible for ICO. |

International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO) |
It is held each year by the Science Olympiad Foundation, and assesses students' general knowledge as well as their understanding of current events. The results are released at four levels: school, city, zonal, and worldwide. Students can earn wonderful prizes based on their achievements at various levels. |

International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO) |
These tournaments are open to students in grades 1 through 12. Students in Class 11 and Class 12 cannot, however, apply for every test; some are restricted to Class 10. Students in grades III through X are eligible to take the test. |
Former SOF Olympiads 2023
Nowadays, each Olympiad test is taken by around 5 million pupils annually-
- Once a two-level test, the National Cyber Olympiad Level-2 (NCO) exam has been reduced to one level as of 2017–18.
- During the 2016–2017 academic year, the International Sports Knowledge Olympiad (ISKO) was held. It was a single-level test that was given in collaboration with Star Sports and open to students in grades 1 through 10.

SOF Olympiad Syllabus 2023
There is no set curriculum for these tests. To create its exam papers, the SOF Olympiad follows the curriculum of CBSE, ICSE, and several state boards. For example, if a student wishes to participate in the NSO (National Science Olympiad), they can do so by following the course for their grade level. In the National Cyber Olympiad, for example, a student has 60 minutes to complete their paper. How to apply for the SOF Exam 2022-23 via School?
- Students must collaborate with their school instructor or principal to get the SOF application form if the school authority is registered with the SOF.
- Pupils must complete the SOF Olympiad 2023 application form and submit it to their school officials.
- Before the deadline, the schools will provide the student registration sheet and paperwork to the SOF.

If two or more students earn the same rank, the monetary reward in the appropriate category will be allocated as follows-
- International Winners- If up to nine students achieve the same rank, the reward will be split evenly. In addition, each winner will get a medal in the appropriate category as well as a certificate. If more than nine pupils receive the same rank, instead of a monetary prize, each winner will receive presents worth Rs. 1000/ + a medal in the corresponding category, and a certificate.
- Zone Winners- The reward sum will be divided evenly among up to four students who achieve the same rank. In addition, each winner will receive a medal in the appropriate category as well as a certificate. If more than four pupils receive the same rank, instead of a monetary prize, each winner will receive presents worth Rs. 1000/- plus a medal in the corresponding category and a certificate.
SOF Olympiad 2023 Results
The results are released 4-6 weeks following the second exam date. The findings are delivered to the respective schools. The results are also accessible on the SOF's official website.
