PRT Full Form
The full form of PRT is Primary Teachers. PRTs are assigned to teach students from classes 1 to 5. Their primary role is to teach basic subjects to young children and develop a strong foundation for their education. PRTs are hired in primary schools and play a crucial role in shaping a child’s future.
Overview of DSSB PRT Full Form
The DSSSB will organise the DSSSB Recruitment 2024. Every year the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board conducts DSSSB exams for various teaching and non-teaching posts. DSSSB vacancy 2024 has been announced on the official website for candidates preparing for different posts.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to pursue their careers as PRTs should be graduates with a minimum score of 50% marks. Furthermore, candidates must hold a diploma in Elementary Education or a Bachelor of Education course from a renowned university or institution. Some schools may also ask for candidates who have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) to be eligible for the post.
PRT Eligibility Experience

Roles and Responsibilities of PRT Full Form
PRTs primary role is to teach primary classes and help children develop a strong foundation in education. They prepare lesson plans, design activities, and assess students' progress constantly. Primary Teachers make children learn good habits, build social skills, and foster a love of learning. They are also required to participate in school events and meetings and coordinate with other teachers and administrators.
Qualifications of PRT
For candidates who aspire to be primary teachers, candidates should have completed their graduation and must have a D.EI.Ed. or B.Ed. degree. Furthermore, some schools ask for candidates to clear the CTET or STET exams to be eligible for the post.
