CMAT 2023 Latest Updates
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for CMAT 2023 on May 31st, 2023. Candidates can now access their CMAT result and scorecard on the official website by logging in with their IDs. The CMAT 2023 examination was conducted by the NTA on May 4, 2023.

What is CMAT Exam?
CMAT, or Common Management Aptitude Test, is an Indian national level management entrance exam administered by NTA for admission to MBA/PGDM programs. Since 2018, NTA has been conducting the CMAT exam, which was previously held by AICTE in accordance with the Government of India's instructions.

CMAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria before applying for the CMAT:
- Nationality: All applicants must be Indian citizens.
- Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any field from a board-approved university.
- Appearing: Final-year graduate students whose results will be announced before the start of the admission procedure are also eligible to apply.
- Age: There is no set age limit for taking the CMAT 2023 exam.

CMAT 2023 Registration
To apply for CMAT 2023, candidates must complete the following steps:
- Visit the website of CMAT 2023.
- Now click on “CMAT 2023 Registration”.
- The candidates must then register before applying for the CMAT 2023.
- For registration, candidates have to enter their email id and phone number.
- Login details will be sent to candidates' registered IDs and numbers.
- Now select the "I Agree" option.
- Fill in the details like name, parent name, date of birth, gender, email id, and phone no.
- Now, choose your payment gateway, enter your payment information, and complete your transaction.
- After verification take the printout and keep it safe for future reference.

CMAT 2023 Registration Form Correction
The CMAT 2023 Application Form Correction window will be open for a maximum of one week after the registration window closes. Candidates who have submitted their application form and fee will be able to edit their contact information, personal information, exam city preferences, uploaded documents, and academic information. Form correction in CMAT 2023 is a one-time service. No changes will be allowed later.
Steps to correct CMAT 2023 application form are mentioned below:
- Go to the official website of CMAT 2023 i.e cmat.nta.nic.in
- Click on the 'Correction for CMAT 2023' link.
- You will be taken to the login screen.
- Enter your CMAT 2023 application number, password, and security pin to log in.
- Choose the sections you want to change and make the necessary changes.

CMAT 2023 Admit Card
The CMAT 2023 Admit Card is expected to be available on February 15, 2023. Admit cards can also be sent to candidates who have successfully completed their application form via their registered email address. Candidates who do not bring their admit card to the exam will be denied entry.

Steps to Download the CMAT Admit Card 2023.
To download the hall ticket, candidates must follow these instructions:
- Visit the CMAT website at cmat.nta.nic.in.
- Select "Download Admit Card" from the tabs.
- Fill in the blanks with your CMAT Application Number, password, or Date of Birth.
- Select the 'Download CMAT Admit Card' option.
- Take a printout of your CMAT Admit Card 2021 and keep it for future reference.

CMAT 2023 Exam Pattern
The following is the CMAT 2023 exam pattern:
- Mode of the exam: The exam will be administered online (via a computer).
- Types of Questions: The questions will be of the Multiple Choice variety.
- Medium of the exam: The question paper will only be available in English.
- Duration of the exam: The duration of the question paper is three hours.
- Number of Questions asked: A total of 100 questions will be asked, with 20 questions assigned to each section.
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will receive 4 points, while each incorrect answer will receive -1 point.

CMAT 2023 Syllabus
The CMAT 2023 Syllabus covers several topics, including logical reasoning, quantitative techniques and data interpretation, general awareness, and language comprehension. Because each section contains an equal number of questions, candidates must focus equally on all subjects in order to achieve a high score.
- Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation: Speed, time and distance, percentages, averages, ratio and proportion, profit, tables, bar graphs, line charts, Venn diagrams, pie charts, etc. are examples of
- Logical Reasoning: Logical Sequence, Data Structure, Number and Letter Series, Binary Logic, Direction Sense, Clocks and Calendars, Puzzles, Syllogism, Seating Arrangement, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, etc.
- Language Comprehension: Reading Comprehension, Passages, Sentence Correction, Jumbled Paragraph, etc.
- General Knowledge: It includes current events in the domestic and global economy, news personalities, information about the Indian Constitution, sports news, trade awareness, politics, history, culture, geography, economics, and sports science in daily life.
- Innovative and Enterprenuership: Important Events, Budget & Economic Report, Business & Corporate Affairs, New Investments & Schemes, Policies Related to Entrepreneurship and Business Promotion, Innovation & Entrepreneurship: Startup Ecosystem, General Economy, International Organizations, Banking Regulation & Reforms, and Current Affairs.

CMAT Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates taking the CMAT 2023 exam must prepare thoroughly not only for the exam but also for the exam day. Here are some points that you must keep in mind for the exam day:
- Remember to bring a printout of your CMAT admit card; digital, scanned, or photocopied admit cards are not acceptable as valid documents.
- Arrive at your CMAT exam center by the reporting time specified on your admit card.
- You should not bring any electronic devices or valuable items to the exam site.
- Carry a photo ID as a secondary identity proof in addition to your CMAT 2023 admit card.
Documents to carry in the exam hall as identification:
- Aadhar card
- PAN card
- Voter ID card
- Passport
- Driver's license
- College/University ID card

CMAT 2023 Answer Key
The CMAT Answer Key 2023 will be released in the first or second week following the examination. The NTA will release the CMAT exam answer key so that candidates can evaluate their performance. The answer key will be made available in April 2023. The CMAT answer key and response sheet will be available on the NTA website.
NTA also gives candidates the option of contesting the CMAT answer key. Candidates can challenge the CMAT 2023 answer key by completing an online form and paying Rs 1000/- per question.

CMAT 2023 Result
The CMAT Result will be available in the final week of April 2023. The results will be made available online. An All India merit list of candidates will be published on the website based on their performance in the online test. In each section, the list will include their names, roll number, score, and percentile. Separate scorecards will not be emailed or mailed to the candidates.
CMAT score card will be taken into account for admission to the academic year by various AICTE-approved colleges/institutions and universities. There will be no offline mode to obtain the score card.

CMAT 2023 Cut off
Each CMAT 2023 participating college will issue its own CMAT Score for Admission. The CMAT 2023 cut off for prestigious MBA colleges such as JBIMS, Goa Institute of Management, Great Lakes, XISS, and others is nearly 95 to 99 percentile.
CMAT 2023 Expected Sectional Cut off
The CMAT 2023 sectional cut-off is the lowest score that candidates are expected to achieve in order to pass the CMAT 2023 exam and gain admission to an AICTE-approved Management College. The following are the expected CMAT 2023 cut-offs by section:

CMAT 2023 Selection Process
The NTA does not use a centralized selection procedure. Following the announcement of the results, each CMAT 2023 participating college publishes its CMAT cut-off. For MBA admissions, these institutes have their own CMAT 2023 selection process. Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interviews (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds are included in the CMAT 2023 selection process.
CMAT 2023 Counselling
The CMAT 2023 counseling process is set to begin following the announcement of the merit list. A merit list is created based on the candidate's exam performance and the marks obtained in the entrance exam. Candidates can attend counseling sessions held by various institutions and universities based on their CMAT 2023 scorecard. At the time of counseling, all required documents and fees must be brought with you. Seats will be assigned to shortlisted candidates based on their CMAT scores, filled choices, and seat availability.
