AP ICET 2023 Tie-Breaking Criteria
If more than one student scores the same marks at AP ICET during the preparation of the AP ICET 2023 merit list, the tie will be resolved using the following method:
- Taking into account the results of Section-A
- If there is a tie, the marks obtained by a student in Section-B will be considered.
- If the tie persists, it will be resolved by taking the candidate's age into account and giving the older candidate Priority.

- SMS: (Average + Standard Deviation) for the session in which the candidate participates.
- GMS: (Average + Standard deviation) refers to candidates from all sessions combined.
- Top Average Session: The average of the top 0.1% of candidates in a session to which the candidate belongs.
- Top Global Average: The average score of the top 0.1% of all candidates across all sessions.
