AIIMS 2023 Latest Updates

  • The AIIMS Result 2023 exam is set to take place on May 7 for the July session.
  • AIIMS has begun basic registration for the exam, which will take place on March 7, 2023.
  • Basic registration is available until March 25 on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. 
  •  The admit card will be available on May 1st, according to AIIMS Result 2023 dates. 

What is AIIMS Exam?

AIIMS Exam is now conducted by Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET). The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi administers the entrance exam for Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) programs. AIIMS Result scores are accepted for admission to AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, PGI Chandigarh, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, and SCTIMST, Trivandrum, among others. As of 2021, all of these institutes will only admit PG students based on their performance in the AIIMS Result exam. Previously, these 19 institutes held separate exams for admission to PG courses. The AIIMS Result examination is held twice a year, in January and July.

AIIMS Result 2023

Candidates who take the AIIMS PG 2023 entrance examination will be able to check their results for INI SS (DM M.Ch admission) in April 2023. It will be announced in the third week of June 2023 for MD/MS (AIIMS Result). The authority will not notify any other candidate of the outcome by phone or mail.

  • Candidates will be able to check their percentile for each applied course individually. The outcome will be determined by the number of seats available in AIIMS affiliated institutions.
  • AIIMS PG results will only be available online. Based on the percentile scores, a separate merit list will be created. It will be prepared both overall and by category.

How to Check AIIMS Result 2023?

The AIIMS result 2023 for the July session will be available online, and candidates must download it from the official website. Candidates can check the AIIMS Result 2023 result by following the steps outlined below.

  • Navigate to aiimsexams.org, the official website.
  • Select "Academic courses."
  • Choose "Results."
  • Choose the following notification: "Percentile attained by AIIMS Result COURSES Candidates [MD/MS/MCh (6YRS)/DM (6YRS)/MDS] January 2023 Session"
  • Log in with your registration ID and password.
  • Examine the AIIMS Result results.
  • Candidates who pass the exam can obtain their AIIMS Result scorecard 2023 for the January session.

AIIMS Result 2023 Cut Off

The cut off is the minimum number of marks required for a candidate to qualify for the exam. AIIMS will publish the AIIMS Result cut off 2023 results, as well as the merit list, on its official website. It is the final rank and corresponding percentile that allows them to participate in the counselling. The authority will announce the cut off for the categories of UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST, and PwBD. The MD/MS/DM/MCh and MDS courses will have separate cut offs.

AIIMS, Delhi will publish the AIIMS Result merit list 2023 on its official website. When the AIIMS Result merit list PDF is released, a link will be provided here. The merit list for AIIMS Result 2023 will include the candidate's roll number, category, institutional preference, overall rank, and percentile. The AIIMS Result merit list includes candidates representing eight times the total number of available seats across all INIs. Candidates on the merit list will be contacted for AIIMS Result counseling in 2023.

AIIMS PG Counselling 2023

  • AIIMS PG 2023 Counseling will begin in June 2023 for 6 year courses (July session). Counseling will be solely based on the results of the entrance examination. Candidates will be called for counselling based on the combined merit list, beginning with Rank 1.
  • AIIMS PG counseling will be divided into four sections. It will be conducted in the following stages: first, second, open, and spot counselling.
  • On the day of counselling, candidates must bring one photocopy of their registration slip as well as the necessary original documents. AIIMS publishes the AIIMS PG rank list based on merit rather than roll number.
